Remember:

• Good posture
• Eye contact
• Prepare by remembering your content, don’t look at the screen, know your content.
• Stick to your time limits - its a 5 minute pitch
• On the day, slow down and deliver it in the same way that I practiced it, not rushing through.
• Use images where you can, dont go overboard. Use images to explain the point more succinctly.
• Looking back on the deck, the viewers should be able to understand it.
• Use bullet points and statistical information to talk around.
• Use plain english - say it in a plain English, down to earth way.
• Be Succinct!
• Using slides to point to something and ask a question.
• Check that your preferred presentation platform - that you know how to change from mirrored to extended. - On macs, Its in system setting under displays. You change mirrored to extended.
• KISS - Keep it simple stupid
• Limit typefaces for consistency. two max - dont use weird fonts
• Use subtle transitions.
